Existing trees to be saved in the area defined by the east facade of the commons and the new dining hall can/should/will have a profound affect on the space that is being created. It is none too soon to get these building plans grounded on an accurate site plan that shows how walks, building doorways, roadway, and other site features can be used to shape an inviting and functional school and civic space at the heart of the campus.
