SBC Meeting on Wednesday!

After a couple of extra weeks off, the SBC is back to its every other week schedule. Wednesday, May 8th, 7:00pm, Hartwell multipurpose room. On the agenda: Review Construction Documents phase schedule Review updated monthly budget Review construction logistics plan Next meeting is on May 22nd. 

On Budget…

The consensus of three independent cost estimates is that the project continues to be on budget! The Design Development phase is now drawing to a close, and the Construction Documents (CD) phase begins. The next round of cost estimates will been at “60% CD,” which means when the construction documents are 60% complete. Project Schedule […]

Answers to August 11th “Just for Fun” quiz:

a) 38 units will be put together to create the temporary K-4 school. 4 to 6 units will arrive at a time throughout the month of September. Consigli is working with MassDOT (Department of Transportation) and the Lincoln Police Department to create a transport and traffic plan.

b) 204 footings are being poured to support the temporary structure. They are being poured at a rate of 20 – 25/day. At the end of the project (in 3 years) they will all be removed and the field restored.

c) This is not a sign for lost Lincoln Minutemen! It is the meeting place for the construction team. Later in the project there will be a construction trailer.
